Kaweka Private Hospital is a state-of-the-art healthcare facility designed to deliver world-class medical services for the Hawke’s Bay region.
Buzz Electrics were engaged from the outset to provide a complete electrical installation built to healthcare-grade standards. This included strict compliance with AS/NZS 3003, the installation of bespoke medical control and service panels and the integration of two independent UPS systems to ensure resilience of critical services. The electrical scope was extensive, with more than 1,300 luminaires, 500 metres of linear LED strip, and over 250 medical-grade 10mA RCDs installed throughout the facility.
The hospital features 9 cardiac and 50 body-protected areas, an Angio operating and x-ray theatre, 31 ward rooms, 5 procedure rooms, a pharmacy, conference and education spaces, a café, and amenities for patients and staff.
