Aotea Security Holds Their First Inaugural Risk Management Seminar In Auckland

After several Covid-19 interrupted attempts throughout mid to late 2020, on the 25th of March 2021, one year after our first level 4 lockdown, Aotea Security successfully held its inaugural Security Risk Management Seminar at Auckland University of Technology (AUT).

The first inaugural 'Aotea Security Risk Management Seminar' took place on Thursday the 25th of March with the support of event partners Gallagher Security and Avigilon. Interest in and attendance at the seminar was high with 70 guests attending for an educational session of knowledge sharing and networking.

The seminar was officially opened by Rehan du Toit, Security Manager at Auckland University of Technology, followed by an official Aotea Security welcome from Alistair Hogg, Aotea Security CEO.

Attendees then heard from 4 highly skilled and informative presenters on a range of topics related to Risk Management, coupled with the free sharing of advice, learnings and best practice methodology.

Ray Millar - Security Risk Management

John Williams - Business Continuity Planning

Jeff Brown - Emergency Management

Campbell McKenzie - Cyber Security Incident Response

Collaboration, partnering, shared strategy and long-term sustainable relationships underpin Aotea Security’s approach in engaging with every element of its role within the security industry, wider business and with the community in general.

Following the success of this seminar, Aotea Security are planning to hold another event later in the year, to be held in Wellington.
