Congratulations NZP-Rugby! Aotea Security was proud to support our girls and boys in blue on their recent trip to the Hong Kong, Police International Rugby Championship
We were recently surprised with an email from Senior Sergeant Kerei Gray, outlining the details of what looked to be an exciting international trip for both the men's and women's teams. The tournament took place between the 19th and 28th of September 2019, with matches played at King’s Park Sports Ground and the Police Sports & Recreation Club in Hong Kong.
This was the first 15-a-side competition of its kind, the bi-annual WPFG which was in Chengdu in China in August 2019, has a 7s competition for men and women, but not 15s. The icing on the cake for the Kiwi teams was, of course, both teams taking out their respective grades, beating - Great Britain, England & Australia. The teams proudly represented New Zealand Internationally, so it is great to see their efforts rewarded with the win.
Aotea Security was happy to provide our support to the teams in their fundraising efforts. It is wonderful to have the opportunity to give back to those in our community who do so much for us and even better to see them come away with the win.
