Core duties will involve the installation and servicing of Residential Projects for our Builders and Clients throughout Tauranga and the Bay of Plenty.

The successful applicant must: 

• Have proven experience in an Electrical leadership role with a minimum of 5 years experience.
• Have a high standard of workmanship and personal presentation.
• Be part of our "On Call" team for after-hours service as required (currently 1 week in 8).
• Be adept at following internal processes/procedures.
• Be adept at reading and interpreting specifications, contract documents, and plans of proposed work, as well as being able to produce layout drawings and code calculations for projects.
• Be able to analyse and quickly resolve any work problems that may arise and ensure that all deficiencies on any given project are corrected in a timely manner.
• Lead by example – set, monitor and enforce the standards of Health & Safety.
• Conduct quality control inspections on project sites.
• Coordinate with all other trades working on a job site to ensure smooth transactions.
• Have strong time management skills.
• Have excellent communication skills.
• Be prepared to work overtime as required.

Qualifications:

• Experience reading work orders, building plans and installation manuals in order to determine material requirements and installation procedures.
• Experience installing, assembling, testing and maintaining electrical and electronic wiring, conduit, cable, equipment, components, and devices associated with electrical equipment following drawings of electrical layouts and building plans.
• Current NZ, Manual Drivers License
• Current NZ Electrical Registration
• Current NZ Practicing license
