Role includes:

• Commercial and Residential HVAC & Air Conditioning Service, Maintenance, Repairs and Installations.
• Installation and Commissioning of VRF and VRV systems from various manufacturers (Mitsubishi Electric, Fujitsu, Panasonic, Daikin, etc.)
• Service and Maintenance, fault diagnostics, troubleshooting and repairs of HVAC & Air Conditioning systems, including responsibilities for accurate & detailed job reporting.

The ideal candidate will be:

• A qualified and experienced HVAC Level 4 Technician.
• A qualified and experienced Electrician (preferred).

The Ideal candidate will have experience in:

• Installation of various types of HVAC systems, including split, twin, and multi-split systems, as well as VRF and VRV systems.
• Installation of various sizes of refrigerant pipework and ductwork.
• Accurately reading and following system drawings for installation to include pipework and electrical schematics.
• Residential/Domestic Hi Wall and Ducted system installations & testing.
• Refrigerant pipework installations and testing.
• Liaising with HVAC manufacturers on fault diagnostics-related issues.
• Accurately diagnosing faults on HVAC and Air Conditioning equipment of various manufacturer brands.
• Experience in refrigeration systems (would be beneficial but not essential).

Qualification requirements include:

• Relevant trade or tertiary qualification (Level 4 Refrigeration and Air Con Cert.)
• Current electrical license (EST) as a minimum or full EWRB Registered Electrician (preferred).
• A current full NZ driver's license is essential.
• NZ Residency or a valid NZ work visa is essential.

In addition to the above, you will need to have:

• Minimum 5 years experience working in Commercial and Residential air conditioning.
• Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
• Have a high standard of workmanship and personal presentation.
• The ability to pass pre-employment checks, including drug, alcohol and criminal history.
• The right to currently work in New Zealand and relevant documentation to prove it - MUST
• A current CV with contactable work references.
