Profruit is one of the biggest Apple Juice Concentrate Producers in New Zealand and Buzz Electrics have been exclusively providing electrical and automation support on site since 2013.
Buzz Electrics have provided support across a number of different projects including a press floor operator interface upgrade, 2 added presses that required a full operator interface upgrade and the rebuild of a fire-damaged main MCC/Controls Cabinet. After an extensive fire ravaged the control room, Buzz Electrics were charged with revamping this under huge pressure to allow the high in-season volumes to be processed.
The team were also engaged to complete the main SCADA system upgrade. After the existing SCADA was deemed to be aged, Profruit required a full re-fit of a new ignition SCADA system which was implemented with the close assistance of the Profruit engineering and processing staff.
