The pinnacle of New Zealand motorsport facilities has emerged out of a bare paddock, at a breath-taking rate of knots known as the Highlands Motorsport Park. Aotea Electric Cromwell completed the electrical, communications and data, security and fire systems for this entire site and successfully completed it within a year.
The $30million Highlands Motorsport Park facility houses 4.8 kilometres of international race track and is surrounded by a motorsport museum, restaurant, storage garages, Go Karts racing track and mini golf. Aotea Electric Cromwell has completed the electrical, communications and data, security and fire systems for this entire site and successfully completed it within one year. This includes the latest in My Laps lap timing system run over a fibre optics network.
The electrical on the exterior was to be functional and to not compromise the architectural beauty of the buildings, and Aotea has delivered in both areas and has been a major contributor to this amazing facility.
