Aotea Electric Auckland Ltd is an Electrical Contracting company currently seeking an enthusiastic person to join our Contracts team as a Project Administrator.

This entry level role includes a variety of tasks and would suit someone who is new to the workforce, keen to learn, with a can-do attitude, and is always happy to lend a helping hand. The role offers valuable opportunities for learning, development, and career growth.

The successful applicant will assist with the smooth operation of our projects department, helping to keep our Project Management team organised and productive.

We are looking for someone with excellent organisational skills, who is a great communicator and multitasker. On the job training is provided.

Duties include:

• Document control
• Procurement of project materials
• Project plan and document comparisons
• Assisting Estimators with quantifying tender documents
• Finalising contract progress claims
• Compiling job cost reports
• Maintaining client project portals
• Assisting the Project team with general administration
• Maintenance of spreadsheets and Word docs
• Assisting with the setup of site safety plans
• Set up and maintain contract files and job folders
• Compiling “As-Built” documentation

Skills required:

• Good computer skills, including knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to multi-task and learn quickly
• Can do attitude
• Current Drivers Licence (full or restricted)
