Foreman Electrician

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

You'll be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of electrical works on commercial projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the high standards our clients expect. Working closely with Project Managers, clients, subcontractors, electricians, and apprentices, you'll help drive successful project outcomes while maintaining a positive and productive team culture on site.

  • Managing day-to-day site activities
  • Leading, supervising, and supporting electricians and apprentices 
  • Coordinating services and site requirements 
  • Liaising with clients and other trades 
  • Maintaining high standards of health and safety 
  • Ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to programme 
  • Identifying and resolving site issues proactively 
  • Building a positive, professional site environment 

 

About You

You may already be an experienced Foreman looking for a company where you can continue to grow and make an impact.  Or you could be a capable Senior Electrician or Leading Hand who's ready to back yourself and take the next step into a leadership role.

Either way, you'll bring:

  • NZ Electrical Registration 
  • Strong commercial electrical experience 
  • Leadership experience or clear leadership potential 
  • Good planning and organisational skills 
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities 
  • Commitment to quality workmanship and safety 
  • A practical, solutions-focused mindset 
  • The ability to lead by example and earn the respect of your team
