Aotea Electric Northland is a well-established electrical service and contracting company experiencing substantial growth. We service a diverse range of clients, including property management companies, small industrial, commercial, and residential. We are part of the nationwide Aotea Group, also servicing national companies located throughout Northland.

This role would suit a person already experienced in managing a service team or an experienced Site Supervisor keen to advance their career. You will lead a team to ensure all work is carried out to the required levels of service in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities include:

• Services co-ordination and job management.
• Staff management, mentoring and development (electricians and apprentices).
• Client liaison.
• Procurement of supplies and relationships with key suppliers.
• Preparing Quotes for service work, hvac and small contracts.
• Health & Safety.
• Quality control.

The successful applicant will have:

• Excellent communication, written and verbal.
• Strong computer skills. We use Simpro for our job management system.
• Great organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Solid experience in, and understanding of the trade.
• Accuracy and an eye for detail.
• Ability to train, guide and supervise apprentices.
• Be driven and motivated.

Applicants need to be currently residing in NZ with the legal right to live and work in NZ. A full NZ driver’s licence and current NZ electrical registration are must-haves.
